New Zealand

The history of New Zealand being the youngest country in the world spans from early Māori settlers of the 14th century to the first European explorers in the late 18th century all the way up to modern day.

With a land area of only 270,500 sq km New Zealand is divided up into two main Islands being the aptly named North Island and South Island. There are a number of smaller Islands peppered around the country with the largest of these being Stuart Island.

In modern time New Zealand has become renowned for its breath taking scenery, adrenalin inducing activities and general warmth and hospitality.

Often referred to as “Gods Own Country” it is easy to see why New Zealand is a destination of choice for nature loving travellers. The landscapes range from lush green rain forests, snow capped mountain ranges and pristine beaches.

Also know to be the birthplace of bungee jumping New Zealanders (better known as Kiwis) has always had flair for the adventurous and exhilarating. There are few places in New Zealand were interesting new activities such as the Auckland Sky Jump, Jet Boating and Zorbing can’t be found. It is however in the more established activities such as Bungee Jumping, Skiing and snowboarding that the true culture for extreme sports can be seen.

Due to the young age of New Zealand the majority of its residents are migrants over the last 100 years making New Zealand one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. This means that Kiwis are experts in making visitors to New Zealand feel comfortable and welcome.

We look forward to seeing you!
